Getting dirty in the bedroom

We put up our Christmas tree today. Not too last minute. So in order to make room for it we usually have to move some stuff out of the living room, normally a table gets put in the basement. But today, since my mom's hibiscus tree was where my dad wanted to put our Christmas tree, that was the thing to get moved. Problem is, he told my brother to put it in my bedroom. Nobody asked me if I wanted a large plant in my bedroom. The hibiscus is in here against my will. I don't want it in here. I mean, it's potted in dirt, now there's dirt in my room. That bothers me. But since I had no say in the matter (as a matter of fact I tried to protest) I said I was putting ornaments on it. I only had a few extra ornaments, but there it is:

Mall Santas are creepy

What, it's December 18th and no annual Christmas drawing yet? That's what I thought too. But first a reacp:

And now, what you've been waiting for...

2011: "Santa's Tired of Your Ridiculous Requests (and You Can Just Kiss His A**)"

Santa got a little fed up. Now it looks as though he's probably going to jail. I mean, in front of children? Perv. Although some people do have ridiculous holidays wishes. My 7 year old cousin has on her Christmas list things including an iPad, a pool, and fake blood. Strange.

So I just realized I should probably stop drawing pictures of Santa without his pants on. Maybe I'm the perv.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!

WE NEED A LITTLE CHRISTMAS RIGHT THIS VERY MINUTE!

So I've been listening to Christmas music for almost two weeks now. That's not completely true, let me rephrase: I've been listening to Christmas music constantly (within reason) for almost two weeks, but let's face it, I listen to it year round. And for all you haters out there who are like, "No, it's too early for Christmas, it's not even Thanksgiving yet!" Well, all I have to say to you guys is screw you. BECAUSE CHRISTMAS IS FRICKEN AWESOME. Seriously guys, it's the most wonderful time of the year. Why wouldn't you want to start it early?

Anyways, at home I usually try to refrain from decorating my room for Christmas until the Friday after Thanksgiving, but oh my god, that is so hard and I do not have that kind of self-control, so I usually let myself put a few small things up every week in November. Here though, I don't have any decorations. That's just not right. Christmas cheer starts right now. So I decided to pick a few things up at Walmart today.

Ahhh, much better. Merry Christmas! And Happy Thanksgiving too, I guess.

Don't forget anything this holiday season!

Especially not your pants!

My new Christmas drawing! I hope you like it. I'll be selling  copies. JK. But it is cute, you gotta admit.

Another overpaid CEO

Saturday morning as I was eating Cheerios before work at 6 in the morning, the thought occurred to me that Santa is kind of creepy. What lead me to this conclusion was wondering what is Santa's job is actually. His main thing is delivering the toys on Christmas Eve. Other than that, he doesn't do much except for supervising those elves. This though, means he is nothing more than an over-glorified delivery man. Which is the creepy part, I mean, I don't  let the UPS man come down my chimney.

Furthermore, the elves do all the hard work, and Santa takes all the credit. I think we should start sending milk and cookies to the elves. The little people are always overlooked.

Modern elves

This is what I do when I'm bored and/or putting off writing papers.

Note that the button on the far-right elf reads "Team Santa."

My excitment is exploding out of a christmas paper wrapped box!

My top 5 favorite things in the world:
1. My bffs -who will be in town Thanksgiving weekend. I can't wait.
2. Christmas - and anything Christmas related will do
3. Shopping - we've been over this before
4. ABC shows (Flashforward, Grey's Anatomy, Better Off Ted)- can't go wrong with ABC
5. MLIA - self explanatory

Well,  at  about12 am a radio station where I live switched over to Christmas music, finally. I have been waiting for weeks. I love Christmas so much and the Christmas songs on the radio is one of the best things about it. You should be warned that from now until December 26, my radio will constantly be playing this station. And I do mean constantly. And finally I get to break out my Christmas decorations for my room. Hence-forth everything will be Christmas-fied. Tomorrow I'm going with my mom to a craft fair. Those things are full of Christmas. Merry Christmas! I feel so merry right now!

O Christmas tree

My family finally put up our Christmas tree. Good thing we didn't wait 'til last minute. I really like our Christmas tree- it's timeless. It's the same artificial tree that we've had always. A lot of the ornaments are ones that my siblings and I made from as far back as preschool. There are new ones- like my frogs or my brothers' drum ones that he likes to put all in the same place and call it his "drum line". But we still put up old favorites like our power rangers (the ones from when we were younger). We did, however, stop putting up the sesame street ornaments.

Snow day

I totally did not do anything today, but there was no school so who cares? I'm still in my pajamas. I should probably change soon... Anyway....

So, it's like six days until Christmas and I don't really have presents for anyone. I have a present for my sister and my older brother, let's see that only leaves- my mom, my dad, my younger brother, my two best friends, and three guinea pigs. Though, if I run out of money the pigs ain't gettin' anything (except my love and care).

There's pep band tonight and it's "ugly holiday sweater night". I don't have an ugly holiday sweater. It's depressing. If I had one I would totally wear it tonight. I will wear holiday earrings, however. I can't decide if I should wear my snowmen (cuz of the snow day), or my new Santa earrings (they're really cool). Tough decisions.

I'm sick

I'm sick, and everything is spinning, but you know what? CHRISTMAS MUSIC!!! Yes, it started today as I'm sure all of you I've been bugging about it will be glad to know. And because I'm sick, I get to be at home listening to it. Instead of at school like all of you. :)
